Duggars release pictures of tiny, stillborn baby girl

Controversial to some, the Duggars sought to commemorate their 20th child's brief life, as well as mourn her untimely death, which seems to me, well within their rights. If nothing else, the sight of those incredibly tiny feet and hands--fully developed at only 19 weeks, may factor into an expectant mother's decision concerning abortion--knowing it's a real child, not a fetus. Jubilee Shalom Duggar is now in the safest, most loving place she could possibly be.

I think this is very telling to a world where so many believe that a 'fetus' is not really a 'baby' at this stage in development. This tiny little baby, the article said, allegedly weighed only 4 ounces! Many who are pro-choice claim a fetus is only a 'glob of tissue' at this 'age' and stage of development, but clearly this tiny, tiny 'thing' is much more. You can see the tiniest of little hands, and feet! This WAS a child the family lost.

These photographs prove beyond any doubt that this was a real BABY and much, much more than a 'glob of tissue.'

Absolutely. And I admire the courage of the Duggars for making them public. They take a lot of guff from opinionated busy-bodies, pontificating about their need to stop with the babies. Yes, she is taking an unnecessary risk at her age. Yes, 19 is already an unusual number of kids. But they are not being raised at taxpayer expense--as in the case of so many today, so I think the size of their family is up to them. Having said that, this being the second child they've lost, I can see the wisdom of not having any more.

It amazes me how well-behaved all of those kids are. I think it's a testimony to both a spiritual home life, and the homeschooling that shields them from the garbage being programmed into public schoolchildren by the NEA.

Thanks for sharing this. Both touching and very enlightening! More pictures like this should be shown so that others can see that this is, indeed, a child...a human being made in the image of God, not a mere blob of blood and tissue.
