    The form of Satan

According to Genesis God turned Satan into the form he used to deceive Adam and Eve, a serpent. Is Satan still a serpent?

    Re: The form of Satan

Can you provide the scripture reference for God turning Satan into a serpent please?
Depending on your eschatological view, the events of Revelation have not (from my view) occured yet, and thus, Satan is still a serpent.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12:9
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. Revelation 12:14-15
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Revelation 20:1-3

Well, we do know that Satan can appear as an "angel of light" according to the Bible so my guess is that he can change form if he wishes to do so. Here is the verse I am referring to:

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
    (2 Corinthians 11:14 RSV)

And here is the verse in context in case you are interested in studying the issue further:

And what I do I will continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
    (2 Corinthians 11:12-15 RSV)

Genesis doesn't say that 'God turned Satan into' a serpent. Satan isn't even mentioned in Genesis.

    Re: The form of Satan

Personally I think scripture is clear who the serpent in the garden is.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:9-17

Revelation 20:2-3

But I imagine Mark has some other definition or understanding.
