    B.
Howbeit when it, the holy bible, is come, it will guide you into all truth: for it shall not speak of itself; but whatsoever it shall hear, that shall it speak: and it will show you things to come.

    C.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

    D.
Howbeit when he, Michael the Archangel, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

    E.
Howbeit when, a prophet or prophetess of God, is come, they will guide you into all truth: for they shall not speak of themselves; but whatsoever they shall hear, that shall they speak: and they will show you things to come.

    F.
Howbeit when, the pope, is come, they will guide you into all truth: for they shall not speak of themselves; but whatsoever they shall hear, that shall they speak: and they will show you things to come.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Re: Guide You Into All Truth

Efforts to separate the Lord into three distinct persons can be fraught with pitfalls, except when done to studiously examine His different manifestations. Think perichoresis. Here's an explanation, written long ago by John of Damascus:

"The subsistences dwell and are established firmly in one another. For they are inseparable and cannot part from one another, but keep to their separate courses within one another, without coalescing or mingling, but cleaving to each other. For the Son is in the Father and the Spirit: and the Spirit in the Father and the Son: and the Father in the Son and the Spirit, but there is no coalescence or commingling or confusion. And there is one and the same motion: for there is one impulse and one motion of the three subsistences, which is not to be observed in any created nature"

I agree, and I think we get ourselves in trouble when we try to comprehend what we cannot comprehend. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the trying to comprehend so much as the not accepting that we cannot fully comprehend. We have ample "proof" that God exists and is Creator and Redeemer. But much of our understanding is faith. Certainly not baseless faith, but still faith.

If being able to fully comprehend is a requirement for believing, I would say that we would all remain lost.

Absitively and posolutely! Sometimes, even comprehension can be detrimental, if it causes us to become condescending toward others...Paul used the term puffed up. However, I believe we are given every bit of the understanding we can handle as we mature in Christ. A child doesn't understand what all must occur in order for a meal to be placed in front of them, yet, the food nourishes them anyway. Likewise, I don't understand how Papa said, "Let there be light" and there was light...but I use the light to see anyway.

    None of the above.
You did not answer your own question?

    C. Because:

-The Spirit is not an "it", the Pope, or any archangel-Michael or any other angel.

On some levels E could be true, but within the context I say only C. A true prophet would indeed speak the message God sent, but at the same time, as I said, within the context, a prophet/prohetess, no. And while the Spirit of truth indwells the believers,..... believers, the Pope, prophets, are not "the" Spirit of truth.

And since we know that this is what scripture says
Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.....12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

Act 1:5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."

Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Edit: Ididn't read A carefully enough...my bad. But the wording is still not accurate in regards to Jesus

Re: Guide You Into All Truth

    I would say only Spirit

Christ was the Word made flesh - he came to earth and taught the apostles
they only understood what he taught after christ ascended and he sent them Spirit
Christ did not lead them into all truth like the Spirit did, Christ spoke the truth but they did not understand it fully. the understanding was only unlocked when Spirit was given.

the pharisees had Christ right in front of them yet Christ didnt lead them into all truth

the bible is scripture - the pharisees had scripture just like many do today
they read and thought they understood but they were in error - the scripture did not lead them into all truth
the apostles had scripture of ot yet their understanding was locked until they had Spirit

Christ did not say - you will be lead into all truth because you have scripture and me, he said Spirit will lead you into all truth, i believe him

prophets do not lead one into all truth because if they did then isreal would have listened and no need for Christ or Spirit

Joh 16:13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, thatshall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Joh 16:14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shewitunto you.
