Hi Ta-An... I'd lean to say it was not, for the text doesn't give hint nor as Fenris has pointed out within your subsequesnt thread, that Simeon was of a different era.

Simeon has a special place in my heart. I have played him at least 8 times (the last time I was cast in the role the director didn't know I had played him before). He has become so much a part of my life that he is almost always just under the surface. He is a true picture of waiting on the Lord.
