The Bus.
A week ago or so I broke one of my front teeth, eating a sweet. So I rang the dentist not long after for an appointment to have it seen too. To-day I made my self ready for my appointment this afternoon. Everything went well and they temporally capped it till I can go and have it crowned, in about a months time. So talking to the receptionist after my check up and temporary crown I made my way out of the building up the road to-ward the bus stop. halfway along the road I turned to see the bus coming, so when it got nearer I put my hand out to show I wanted to get aboard, I accelerated half running half walking, some one got off and several seconds later I was on the bus thanking him for waiting. I was so pleased to get on board, it was a relief the thought of not having to walk up the hill in my home village, as this bus goes straight passed my house. So off we set going through the castle wall and along and down the hill to pick up school children going to the next village before mine.Just as we were passing the school a young school boy ran straight in front of the bus just missing running him over. If the bus had come a few seconds earlier he'd have been killed or seriously hurt. The boy turned to look in horror his ear phones dangling from his ears, he hadn't seen or heard the bus coming. Are you thinking what I am thinking. Alan![]()
