True faith will always result into a transformation into the image of Christ. It gives ears and to hear, eyes to see and a heart to understand. Because of this,we are converted and healed. The goal of the Father is that his will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. True Faith will always produce this.If we have a doctrine or a theological construct that fabricates salvation as something other than this then we are deceived and do not have the doctrine of Christ or the apostles. The Kingdom of God is only obtained by those who step down from the throne of their own heart and yield to Christ, his rightful place. We cannot enter the kingdom if we remain on the throne. The carnal nature of intelligent and crafty men have formed a theology that allows one to remain the lord in his own heart and still think he is "saved" Such doctrines are of satan and will result in eternal damnation for those who teach it and those that receive it.
Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
The above verse implies that there will be a teaching that allows such things to remain in our life and still be "saved" We are told to let no one deceive us with these vain words.
1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Jesus was manifested not only as a propitiation for sin,but to DESTROY sin. This is not done by some legalistic adherence to a set of rules and ordinances but by a walk in the Spirit through the power of Christ's resurrection.
Ga 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
It is impossible to walk in the Spirit and yield to our own desires. When we fail to walk in the Spirit we have yielded to the flesh and it then has dominion over us.
Ro 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
It is clear that if we continue to walk in sin we will reap the end result of sin, which is death:
Ja 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Let us repent and not be deceived into believing that we can walk in sin and not reap the end result. Christian growth is only accomplished by true repentance and overcoming sin in greater and greater measure. The love of God will then be shed abroad in our hearts and shine through us:
Ro 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 5:3 And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
There is the process, let us continue on unto true salvation by walking in the Spirit.
