That was beautiful and so well said. I have to agree that Jesus was not prejudice - how could He be? God loves all people. I agree with you thought that He wanted her to proclaim what was in her heart out loud for others to hear. We are to do this - proclaim our belief in Jesus for all to know. He wanted her to full fill this and she did! How wonderful!

If Jesus was prejudiced then how could He have so quickly rewarded the woman for her faith? The woman was an idol worshipper....which is an abomination to God. So Jesus was simply reasoning with her...albeit without a sense for her human feelings. But since when does God take human feelings into any account?

If you are referring to the Canaanite woman then read it in context,the reason her daughter was healed was because the woman kept asking Jesus - NOT REASONING

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Hate to interrupt your coffee break, but how do you interpret these two passages? Does your Bible have "except for" or something, inserted in the text after the words in bold?
