I think the bible says otherwise.
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it on the islands from afar, and say, "He Who scattered Israel will gather them together and watch them as a shepherd his flock."

Let me ask you a question.

Do you think that God is done with the Jewish people?
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it on the islands from afar, and say, "He Who scattered Israel will gather them together and watch them as a shepherd his flock."

    OK, so we're in agreement.

Yes, there are many Jews who are non-religious.
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it on the islands from afar, and say, "He Who scattered Israel will gather them together and watch them as a shepherd his flock."

The Muslims are religious, so how does that relate to knowing God?

    God only knows.

The problem is it doesn't relate to knowing God. God had a method of worship for Israel which Israel no longer follows.

    Or do they...?
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it on the islands from afar, and say, "He Who scattered Israel will gather them together and watch them as a shepherd his flock."

It clearly requires a Temple and priest.

Hmm really? What happened between 586BC and 516BC?
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it on the islands from afar, and say, "He Who scattered Israel will gather them together and watch them as a shepherd his flock."

But that is only 70 yrs, isn't it, and not thousands of years. And didn't that soon get resolved thereafter? So why would it be taking God so long this next time around, as in from when the temple was destroyed in 70 AD? Could it be that it has already been resolved? The NT seems to think so.

So what? Given that people only lived about 30 years at the time, it meant several entire generations lived and died with no temple, no sacrifice, no priests...

How is that any different from the generations after 70? It isn't.

So why would it be taking God so long this next time around, as in from when the temple was destroyed in 70 AD?
I don't pretend to understand why God does things.

The NT has it's rationale. Jews understand things differently. Everything will be resolved in the end I guess.
