Did Christ come as a Messiah to the Jewish People?

this verse doesn't prove that Jesus didn't come as a Messiah to the Jews. And its evident that He did not come to save the non-Jew since He had very little contact with them. So then if He was not the Messiah/Christ to the Jewish people with whom He spent the vast majority healing, delivering, forgiving and preaching the good news to, then He was not the Messiah at all. This thought is not supported by Scripture. Jesus is referred to as the Christ not only after His death, burial, and resurrection, but is referred to as the Christ in the gospels before His death.
