Please continue to pray for my husband...chemo and radiation is HARSH. Update

Having to undergo chemo treatments and radiation is really taking a toll on my husband. He's losing his appetite, is very weak, and just does not feel good AT ALL. Its mainly the chemo that is wearing him down. Someone told me that the chemotherapy treatments take a person to the 'brink' and they have to do that to do any good.

He's at his brink...walking now with a cane, even to make his way to the bathroom. Doesn't want to eat. Losing weight...just please pray for his strength to endure these awful treatments.

Dear sister, I've got you both on my daily prayer list! I am sorry to hear that he is feeling so bad with the chemo. When I was real sick and couldn't eat, they gave my build up milkshakes. They came in little boxes with a straw. I could sip on them, even when I couldn't face food. It balanced out the weight loss. Maybe something like that would be helpful?

Oh my dear child, how I can relate to you and your husband right now. Don't loose hope, don't digress into despair. Allow God to be God. There is one thing God never does is FAIL. Trust Him and give him your burdens.

I will certainly keep you and your husband in my prayers. I lost my father to cancer almost 5 years ago and can sympathize with what you and your husband are going through. Stay strong and positive!

I have been following the prayer request and your updates and praying for your husband and family.
For practical reasons I don't post on every prayer request here but I do read them all and pray over them.

Can he tolerate even a shake? If so, can you find him some high in calories and more importantly high in protein? What about tea? Can he tolerate some diluted tea? That will keep him from getting dehydrated. Dehydration will really cause problems and make you feel even worse.

Lord I thank you for knowing each of us and loving us more than we can know. Thank you that you care about our daily life and want the best for us.
