What gets me is, his segue into that quote was stating that his faith in Jesus guides his policies. If he is really basing his policies on Jesus as his example, how can he support things like Gay marriage and abortion?
"How can someone with similar religious beliefs to mine possibly have different opinions on any political issues??" Also how on earth does "Render unto Caesar" contradict a policy suggesting that people with more money should pay more taxes?
If Obama had referred to any religious figure other than Jesus, everyone would be all "HE'S A HEATHEN!" Whereas his actually quoting Jesus leads to..."HE'S A HEATHEN!" Can't win around here.
