I don't have a six pack. I do, however, have plenty of 8-packs of mini candy bars that went into making my belly.

You can have six pack abs by performing table pushes and head shakes!

I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven".

Must admit: I have a plastic, concave looking thing stuffed behind the desk, designed for facilitating crunches. It actually does work and comes in it very handy when I get the notion, perhaps once a year, if that often. Seems a day up and down on the ladder involves the equivalent of several workouts, but realize that can be pure deception.

Do you find yourself occasionally stumbling over finely-engineered apparatuses folded neatly in closets, under the bed or in catch-all rooms, designed for the ever illusive, ripping abs?

    .
I don't do anything for abs yet I have a full 8-pak. The trick? Diet, diet, diet. There is no substance for diet when it comes to abs. You could do all the sit-ups in the world and not show one ab if your diet is off.

7 simple things to eliminate from your diet:

    1) Dairy - this includes milk (lowfat or skim milk is worse)
    2) Soy - raises estrogen
    3) corn - high in sugar
    4) sugar- self-explanatory
    5) Eggs - yes, especially the whites - no eggs - causes a bad allergic reaction on allergy test - increases inflammation = higher levels of cortisol (#5 is part of #1)
    6) Gluten - no bread
    7) Artificial sweetners (splenda, etc.)
    8) Peanuts - it's not a not; it's a legume

This is called the "Virgin" diet and it works well.

    Yes, eating right does matter.

I've lost from 226 lbs. down to 213 in a few months just by decreasing the amount of pop I drink. - Only drink 1-2 cans a day now from the 4-5(!) I was drinking.

If I could stay motivated, I can definitely see how the Insanity workout would burn fat. It's pretty hardcore. Also "ab ripper x" workout from that other beachbody inspired workout dvd thingy is pretty tough. I have them both, just loose interest after a few weeks... It's just soooooo much like work.!
