Oh God! You are so good to us! Thank you Lord for all you have given us, for truly your word is manna to nourish our bodies and our souls. Lord thank you for the faith you give us and for the hunger and thirst you place in your children to know you more and to be filled with your Word and with your Spirit. Your Word is indeed a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It is what gives me strength in times of weakness and joy in times of sorrow. It fills me when I hunger and quenches my dry bones in the desert. Your word teaches me, guides me, comforts me, encourages me, strengthens me. Oh Lord, you give us what our souls crave, when all the world searches out wisdom and happiness through the things this world has to offer, we find satisfaction in knowing you. You fulfill all our desires and make rich the poor soul. You oh Lord are my everything and to you I run when I seek to satisfy my hunger.
