Followers of other religions breathe, eat, drink, sleep, marry, have sex, and etc.
Are we not supposed to do these either because they are used by other people as acts of worship to false/nonexistent deities? Am I not supposed to do either of them because other people pervert them?
I've never worshipped a pagan god ever in my life. Not even a little bit. Worship is never an accidental act but purposeful.
I do understand what y'all are saying here and I respect your position and your desire to honor God. But like I stated, Paul ate certain meats with the knowledge and understanding that meat is meat and that false gods do not exist. If you know something doesn't exist ... you cannot worship "it" because there is no "it".
Even so, come Lord Jesus!
