I remain, however, somewhat cautious about extrapolating the views of some muslims onto the entireity. If this board shows us anything it is that people who define themselves as Christians are a pretty diverse bunch with very different positions.

We should be careful about this, you are correct. As an unbeliever who had a pretty negative view of Christians, I grew up thinking the Westboro Baptist folks represented Christianity, and that all Christians taught their kids to hold up signs saying "God hates..." It was a complete revelation to me when I learned otherwise.

I'm not saying Islam doesn't have a problem, I'm just saying these people in the video may not be representative. I don't know enough about it.

I think the key point here is "growing up" hating Muslims. Adults hate people for a variety of reasons. But little girls like the one in the video had to learn to hate Jews that from adults. She wasn't even sure what the Jews had done to deserve being hated, as evidenced by her "Pepsi Cola" answer to the question.

And lest anyone think this is an isolated case, I have personally heard--and am prepared to quote--a number of ex-Muslims who speak of how common and prevalent this brainwashing is in Muslim countries all over the world. Many have spoken of their own mothers instilling and encouraging this hatred of Jews in their children. That's so tragic to me.

I remember a video on television once, in which a Muslim mother was weeping over having lost the third of four sons to suicide bombings. At the very end of the video, tearfully hugging her remaining son, she stated that she only hoped he too could one day glorify Allah in the same way. To this day, I'm unable to get my mind around that. It's a mindset that's simply beyond comprehension in our culture. (But then again, so is killing infidels, "honor killing," beheading, stoning, wife-beating, and female "circumcision.")

The blood would be dried into a powder, which they would mix with flour to make into pastries..."

Basically turn the book of Esther on it's head, with a blood libel thrown in for good measure.

A more general question could be asked. Why do so many people hate Jews?

An interesting question.

Lets face it, God is in ultimate control of the situation. And if God removes His hedge of protection from His people then you can be sure satan will desire to persecute and kill as many as he can, even exterminate them if he could. Satan wants to show God as a liar, as incapable of fulfilling His word to Abraham. So if satan can exterminate the descendants of Abraham then God will not be able to redeem a Remnant of the Jews, as shown in the Book of Revelation (144,000).

Of course satan will not succeed totally in his desire, But this does not change the fact that the Jewish people have been like a football being kicking around the world since the days of Jesus. So how can a Jew once again have that Hedge of Yaveh? Well i guess you already know the remedy i suggest. Accept Jesus as Lord. One thing is for sure the zionist movement is not going to provide any hedge, maybe a illusion of a hedge. But all zionisim is creating is a final concentration camp in Israel.

Anyone who is not a servant of God is a servant of satan so the majority of the world serves satan and the majority of the world hates Jews with what is clearly an irrational hatred that i believe does not come from earthly origins.

True. But how many Christians are trained up believing their God condemns Jews as apes and pigs, and that He imparts glorious rewards for killing them? How many are considered "true Christians" for hating and killing Jews?

Works both ways though. Why do Muslims hate Christians? Why do Christians hate Muslims? Why do Muslims hate Muslims? Why do Christians hate other Christians? Why do black people hate white people? Why do white people hate black people? Why do white people hate white people? Why do Asian people hate other Asian people?

Why all the ethnic cleansing even within people's own culture and "back yard"?

Why all the hatred, at all, everywhere?

I agree that Muslims do not have a monopoly on hate. Aside from sin itself, unreasoning hatred is probably the greatest blight facing humanity, responsible for untold millions of instances of wrongful deaths and needless violence. Hate is as central to Satan's interactions with humanity, as love is to God's.

But it's the view of many ex-Muslims, including Kamal Saleem, Walid Shoebat, George Saieg, and Wafa Sultan, that the kind of hateful programming demonstrated in the video clip, is a common, fundamental part of religious indoctrination in Muslim children. They also say that Americans are very naive to believe that such a mindset is held by only a handful of radicals. They are amazed that we can see the Islamization of European countries, yet believe the denials that this is not also the intended goal for the U.S. I tend to believe them on all counts, since they love and evangelize Muslims, and have no reason to lie.

While every religion has bad representation by individuals, I personally know of no other faith but Islam that so embodies a spirit of intolerance toward other beliefs, or clearly singles out Jews and Christians in a negative light in their sacred writings. (If you know of others, please enlighten me).

I have a great distaste for the systematic, deliberate poisoning of the minds of children--common to Islam, according to those who experienced it themselves as children, and this shameful brainwashing was the point of the thread. I never implied that the hatred of Muslims toward Jews was more egregious than other instances of hate in the world--only that there was a reason Muslim children learned it at an early age.
