Why many Muslims grow up hating Jews

Brainwashing is never a good thing. But when it's a child who is only 3, and the programming is designed to dehumanize people and to instill hatred, it's particularly troubling. It's heart-breaking to see a child's innocence taken away like this in the name of hate. Notice the statement that such instilled hatred will ensure that a child grows up to be "a true Muslim," and that care must be taken to ensure that future generations of Muslim children are so "educated." According to the producers of this video, the hateful mindset is not some radical perversion of Islam, but true Islam.

Yes, many in the Islamic world are taught to hate Jews from an early age. (And Obama supposedly wants to give 1.5 billion US tax dollars to the Muslim Brotherhood. Could it be that this American president also hates the Jews?)

Several things here:

* Nowhere near all Muslims are Arabs.

* Many Muslims hate certain other Muslims. A prominant example is Sunnites versus Shiites.

* I'm not at all sure that hostility towards Jews by Arabs is necessarily exclusively because of Islam. I'm not sure that it isn't a factor in it, either.

A more general question could be asked. Why do so many people hate Jews?

Regardless of what brand of Islam one claims, all Muslims are deceived, and worship the same, pagan god. Children are not born knowing how to hate--they have to learn that. And my blood boils when I see innocent children being programmed like this. You can be certain that this kind of brainwashing exists within the Sunni, Shiite, Wahabi, and every other division of the Muslim world--just as they've all bought into Muhammad's teaching that Jews are apes and pigs. It's all shameful, unconscionable, and absolutely inexcusable.

I've been trying to do research on Roman Catholicism and Islam and trying to do a comparison and contrast of them.

I've long heard that many Roman Catholics historically, and to some extent now, have hated Jews. But, I haven't heard NEAR as much about Roman Catholics blowing themselves up to kill Jews. That doesn't mean it's NEVER happened. There seems to be something different about the mentality of Roman Catholics and Muslims.

There's a lot I just don't understand about Islam.

Well, kinda an LOL that the Holy See refused diplomatic relations with Israel until 1993- 46 years after Israel became a state.

I don't think Jews really expected any better, given the Catholic church's silence on the Holocaust and subsequent help of fleeing Nazis.

Yep, that's where it really started. Whatever Muhammad did or said, has become almost equal with the Koran--regardless how cruel or immoral it seems to civilized society. And Muslim children are brain-washed from the time they are toddlers to adopt this mindset, as seen in the video clip. Islamic television also has a Mickey Mouse clone who teaches kids to become "true Muslims" by hating the Jews. Sick.

I didn't know that. I learned something today.

It is fairly horrible. I remain, however, somewhat cautious about extrapolating the views of some muslims onto the entireity. If this board shows us anything it is that people who define themselves as Christians are a pretty diverse bunch with very different positions. I see no reason to suspect that Muslims are any less divided. My caution is also tempered by the way in which the political situation in the middle east had become mixed up with the religious relationships. Politics and religion are always an explosive mix. Your founding fathers were wise there.
