Re: DID PETER REALLY WALK ON THE WATER OR WAS IT SYMBOLIC ?
Paul answered the question of the bodily resurrection of Jesus 2,000 years ago, and he spoke very clearly and plainly on the matter. You can find it in 1 Corinthians 15. Jesus rose bodily from the dead. He did not rise with an earthly body, He rose with a glorified body, but it was a body nontheless. The gospel writers tell us that He was seen, heard, and even touched, ( He had to tell Mary Magdelene to stop clinging to Him), and that He showed the wounds in His hands feet and side. He ate with the disciples. If you believe the Bible, the issue is very clear If you don't believe the testimony of the apostles, you cannot be a Christian, for John said that everyone who is of God heareth us ( that is to say the apostles.)
Anyone who is uncertain about what the Bible says about Jesus' resurrection, please read the Gospels, the book of Acts, 1 Corinthians 15, and the first epistle of John, and may God grant you understanding.
God Bless
1 John 1:7- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
2 Corinthians 7:1- Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
