Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

Wow. I'm so stunned by this article. I understand that when a person suffers a stroke, often times they behave confused at first. But, this behavior goes beyond that, he almost acts like he's in some sort of trance, he wasn't communicating well, they said, he seemed confused and the fact that he was late and missed the meeting before the flight, tells me that there may have been something that could have occurred to trigger this. I know it sounds silly, but what if someone snatched and hypnotized him so he could cause the plane to crash. The fact that he was bringing up religious stuff...what if muslims have resorted to kidnapping and hypnotizing pilots, causing them to crash planes and planting religious ideas in their heads, things about Jesus, in order to take people's eyes off the muslim religion? I don't know if that sort of thing is even possible, or if someone would try that, but with all the conspiracy ideas I've heard through the years about the government kidnapping and hypnotizing people, well, maybe someone decided to try to put that into practice for the sake of advancing Islam, so as to be able to destroy America. I mean, reading and rereading that article just doesn't make sense outside of some crazy theory like hypnosis.
Good guy suddenly goes bad, but first he's late to work, then he acts confused while doing things that could put the plane in danger, mumbles stuff about the end times, stuff that doesn't make sense and people can't understand, just gets plain nutzo. Unless he suddenly came down with a major infection in the brain that suddenly took affect, that behaviour is weird. Unless he was on some sleeping meds that hadn't worn off completely and he kept going in and out of a sleep state, but was sleep walking????
And the weird thing is, that I seen on NBC this morning they were talikng about an older case where a woman killed her children because, she said, God told her to. All most could say, this may be the "leading edge" of the Christians are bad agenda by our leaders.

Or he could have been "slipped" something...
Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I heard a neurosurgeon on talk radio this morning that said he would be willing to bet a huge sum of money that it was either a stroke or an aneurysm that caused this behavior.
That would be more explainable.
That was my first thought, but wouldn't he then have gone numb on one side if it had been a stroke? Although I never did consider an aneurysm, but knowing what happened to my dad when he had one, that might make sense. I say might because my dad is a drunk and was drunk when he had one so his behavior became even more neurotic than normal, so I am not really sure just how far gone a persons behavior might become from an aneurysm.I sure hope it was just one of those...and he'll be ok. Not that I wish ill health for the guy, but the other thought is just too frightening to consider.
Yeah, only most people who say God told them to do some horrific act are either mentally ill to begin with or simply possessed and don't know God's voice, therefore they are easily deceived when they hear the voice of the devil. But you are right, it can cause a great deal of fear in people who are not Christians and cause them to fear us "religious" folks.
Well look on the bright side at least the pilot wasnt shouting Allah Akbar. - - - - Dravenhawk

Well, even in the cases where that, or something similar, has happened, people somehow manage to conveniently cover up things. Remember the Egyptian co-pilot of EgyptAir flight 990 that purposely crashed an airliner into the Atlantic Ocean back in 1999? Remember that it was discovered that before the crash the pilot was fighting with the co-pilot at the control stick to regain control of the plane because the co-pilot was pushing the plane down and then shut off the engines? Politically correct folks weren't comfortable with the idea of a Muslim co-pilot trying to commit suicide and killing hundreds of passengers along with him. Because of their discomfort, they tried to say that the plane was experiencing "mechanical problems" and the co-pilot was merely "trying to regain control of the plane," even though it was shown in the investigation that the co-pilot was the one actually causing it to crash...intentionally.![]()
