"May the Lamb that was slain receive the just reward for His sufferings." A quote by Moravian missionary that sold himself (along with a friend) into slavery to reach those that the slave owner prevented from hearing the gospel.
May I live for Him and not for me.

I had to look up the definition of character, as the word character is highly equivocal....man i bore myself sometimes.
I think they share the same character in terms of moral and ethical qualities, the Son always does the Fathers will and the Father is well pleased by His Son. So i would say yes if character is defined in terms of moral and ethical values.
Added a question for discussion if you guys that have already posted want to talk about it. How does your view impact your interpretation of the OT and NT?

Well the question is wrong. We should avoid our interpretation and seek the interpretation of God through the Holy Spirit. How does your view impact your interpretation of the OT and NT?
And another thing. You are not as righteous as Christ.

I always enjoy it when this comment rises up! My righteousness is based completely upon Him and not of myself. So I have His righteousness and none of my own. Therefore, I am as righteous as He is only because any righteousness I have is of and from Him!
2 Cor 5:21
21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
NASU
All of God's children have the "righteousness of God in Him".

Your heading does not say "righteousness of God in Him" it says As righteous as Christ. I was right and am still right to stand against that. Did you put it down that way just to extract a reply like mine so you can have a cheap feeling of superiority by then posting as you have done above.
Correct it. Change it to "righteousness of God in Him" and stop setting traps for people.
