Ek het verlede jaar plantjies by kwekery gekoop en het nogal 'n lekker klomp kon pluk.Hierdie jaar het ek nie geplant nie.

Ek dink die planttyd is nou min of meer verby. Hang natuurlik van jou klimaat ook af. As julle gewoonlik nie ryp kry nie sal ek sê probeer en kyk wat gebeur, maar die kanse is goed dat dit te koud gaan wees vir die blommetjies oor 'n maand of wat.

Ek het dt so Oktober geplant.Soos Filadelfieer skryf is dit seker te laat nou maar mens kan solank beplan ver die somer maande.Ek moet my tuin boek gaan soek en kyk wat daar staan.

Ek dreig al lank om vir my 'n groente tuin te maak. Hierdie lengte gaan ek beslis. Vars groente uit die tuin proe beslis beter as winkel groente.

Saailinge is in 'n mate beter, alhoewel duurder, maar ek persoonlik dit is meer pret om mens se eie saailinge te kweek en dan uit te plant, veral op die skaal wat mens tipies by die huis gaan hê.

Saailinge gee jou darem n heerlike 'running start'. Maar die plant van saad gee ons maar vir die rustiges van geaardheid onder ons.... Nie soos ek wat groen Hubard saad geplant het die dag voor ek Israel toe is en toe 10 daarna al n oes verwag nie.....

Ek het nou net in 'n boek gelees dat as jy eiervrug wil pluk ,moet dit afgesny word.Om te pluk maak blykbaar die stammetjie seer.
