The boss of Goldman Sachs claimed yesterday that bankers were doing 'God's work'.

Lloyd Blankfein is the latest money man to defend bumper bank bonuses, suggesting a return to massive profits should be welcomed.
However, the chief executive of the Wall Street firm admitted people were 'p***** off, mad and bent out of shape' as a result of bankers' actions.
Lloyd Blankfein has defended the return of bumper profits and bonuses to Goldman Sachs (Usary/interest)
He also acknowledged: 'I could slit my wrists and people would cheer.'
Mr Blankfein made his comments just 12 months after bankers brought the world's economy to the brink of collapse.
He said modern banking performed a vital function and described himself as just a banker 'doing God's work'.

Mr Gotti Tedeschi serves on the board of several large Italian banks, has taught financial ethics at a Catholic university in Milan and is a close adviser to Italy's finance minister, Giulio Tremonti.

Its cash point machines in the Vatican City State carry the distinction of allowing account holders to conduct transactions in Latin.

It was famously implicated in a scandal in 1982 over the collapse of what was then Italy's largest private bank, Banco Ambrosiano.

The head of Banco Ambrosiano, Roberto Calvi, was found hanging from Blackfriars Bridge in London in 1982, amid suspicions that his murder may have been ordered by the mafia, which was believed to have lost money in the bank. It has never been established whether he was killed or committed suicide.

Calvi's close links with the Vatican earned him the nickname "God's Banker".

The disgraced head of the bank, American Archbishop Paul Marcinkus, was also accused of having links with organised crime groups. He died in Arizona four years ago.

Let me explain:

And Jesus Christ was "Man" who walked the earth as you and i; but Jesus Christ was a "good Man" and therefore the scribes and the priests wanted to belittle him because they feared his "doctrine" and wanted to destroy Him when He took on Wall Street in the temple.

God Almighty understood that the world needed a financial system, which He provided for in the form of "gold"

Bad "man" was greedy and created all forms of world finance; gold backed by paper certificates, paper money against assets such as your fixed property and currently the one country's trade balance against the other = "THE BEAST".

My goal in the previous posts was to point out that that the beast represents the financial world of finance and money, both the USD and gold as the world reserve currency.

[The United States abandoned gold as the foundation of its monetary system in two steps.

Step two came in 1971 when President Richard Nixon “closed the gold window” and denied foreign governments the right to turn in paper dollars for gold.

It is important to take note, that the USA announced the abandonment of the gold standard as world reserve currency in 1934 when the USA was given the privelege by the World Bank to channel all World Bank funds by means of USD currency only.

As a result; since 1971 all foreign countries could no longer trade in the gold standard as they had to comply with trading in USD only, and therefore you will notice that all movements of goods, oil etc. could only be traded in the USD.

What to we learn from this; - that no country was allowed to trade with one another, "unless they had USD" to pay for these goods purchaced.

A quarter of world trade

BRICS nations have nearly half the world's population and account for more than a quarter of world trade.

Export-import banks from the five nations signed a separate deal Thursday making it easier for the countries to trade with each other in their own local currencies.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said the BRICS nations will play a key role in reforming global governance in coming years.

It is after all no secret that the IMF and World Bank have dominated global finance for close to 70 years, but that is slowly but surely coming to an end, especially giving the latest BRICS initiative and the fact that the world reserve currency, the U.S. Dollar, is heading for trouble.

In fact, less “…noticed and commented upon is the aspirations of the BRIC nations to become less dependent on the global reserve currency, the dollar and to position their own currencies as internationally traded currencies. There are two phrases that we are very familiar with; "money is the root of all evil" and "money makes the world go round"

I am however just pointing out existing "periods" refered to in the scripture and tying it up with the end times prophecies.

You are only looking at one side of that passage, not the other. That passage also says a thousand years as one day. You should divide 24 hours into 1000 years just like you did the reverse. That passage isn't saying any number of years equall any number of days or hours. It is saying basically, that God is outside of time, that "to Him", one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day. We are NOT Him. To us, a day is like a day, a thousand years is like a thousand years. To even try to draw conclusions as you are doing makes absolutely no sense, at least to me.
