What happened to the bones of Jesus?
After the physical body of Jesus died, what happened to the bones of that body. The rest of the body obviously would have decayed, but unless the body was cremated, the bones or bone fragments would have to be in some discernible location. What is the general consensus among Christians as to where the bones of Jesus are at this moment? Thanks

According to the bible, they physical body of Jesus ascended into heaven after he'd been around a wee while after he was resurrected. How people interpret that literally, given that we know that if you go high enough you are still in temporal space (and not in heaven) will vary, Christian to Christian. For myself I think that the ascension is a perspective view on a dimensional shift. Its a good question actually. What DID happen to the physical body after it rose into the clouds.

His flesh did not experience decay. Jesus was resurrected on the third day. Acts 2:31 - he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.
