Hearing voices of the demonic

I don't believe satan wants people to believe he's real. He hides behind sins and would much prefer us to believe our troubles are our own. Its like having a nasty brand name to a food product...you don't put the brand name on the box if people won't buy it.

On top of the voices I hear and the thoughts I get I also suffer from chronic depression, anxiety, restlessness and fatigue. Its gotten so bad some days I stopped worrying about how bad it would get and started being thankful to the Father for the times it was bearable. I heard something the other day that seems to have some validity: "What if you woke up tomorrow and only had what you were prayerfully thankful for?"

I thank God for the times I can stand to live. I pray and thank God for the blessings of even a cool breeze, daily nourishment, and spiritual rest.

I like using the story of the other two men on the cross. One of them kept demanding that Jesus show his might and power and deliver himself and him out of their situation but the other kept saying he deserved his punishment for is crimes.

Well, I really don't know about you but I deserve my punishment for my sins. Thats not to say I don't want this off of me but I do see why God allowed it to happen. Believing you deserve your punishment doesn't mean it will continue. God isn't cruel like that. God loves the poor spirit. The ones that are humble yet forgiven.

if satan doesnt want us to know that he is real and true he wouldnt be showing us all these nightmares ,dreams and visions there are some demons that dont want to reviel themselves to us humans and then there are the wons that like to show themselves to humans .if you know anything about satans kindom or the underworld you would know there are many spiritaul forces at work ,so be mindful you are a very blessed person to have seen satans kindom yet you deny that satan exist .satan wont leave you until you admit that satan exist like i said iv been through the same thing i prase the lord jesus evryday ,confess all your sins to GOD . not to the pastor of the church ,i pray for a relese in your mind body and soul in the name of the farther son and the holy spirit amen .

Perhaps punishment was a poor word choice. I do believe my demonic oppression is a result of sin that left an open door for satan so by saying that I really mean to say my oppression is a repercussion of sin. This can't happen to just anyone and you have to wonder why God would give satan permission. In my specific instance I think God used evil to bring me to him. That's my theory anyway.

God is love but he's also a judge. He decides in our best interest even when we're not our own best advocate. God allowing this to happen to me probably saved my eternal life. Now thats love.

vlad, that's equivalent to saying people have cancer so we can find a cure for cancer. I agree with you though anyone who has Jesus is blessed.

Doesn't the bible consider it a sin to turn someone astray? I don't believe the bible states he has received his final judgment yet. He won't have a chance to live in Heaven but God could reduce his punishment. But I'm sidetracking because we all know the future that is in-store for him.

Satan and his demons are not in hell yet, this is true. That's future. They are allowed, for the time being, to roam the earth and they cause what evil they can, but they are destined for hell and they know it. The demons, in at least one scripture, had asked Jesus if He had come to torment them before "the appointed time." They know where they are going. The Bible also says the lake of fire is prepared for Satan and his angels. There is no getting out of that punishment for them. There has been no provision for salvation for fallen angels. I don't know that there is a possibility to have "lesser punishment" in hell. Hell doesn't seem like a good place, period. Even if there is lesser punishment in hell, Satan and his demons seem to have no desire to repent for the evil they've done. As for the poster that started this thread, all I can say is to continue to seek God for relief from this demonic affliction. Perhaps God is allowing it to occur for a reason. It's a testing of faith, endurance, and reliance on God for the poster, perhaps. Also, the poster needs to realize that the Devil is a liar and most, if not all, of what he says is a lie. Just tune him out and rely on God. The Devil is a bully and wants to cause fear, worry, and doubt. Satan is at war with God and man. Don't let him have a victory.

Perhaps I've been a little rough with you Cindy and for that I apologize. These are just some of the things I've come to realize going through my own battle. I'm not saying I have the truth but when I realized these things it helped me cope with a lot of it.

God loves you and he shows it. He's very much in control of everything. He's not helpless and this isn't foreign to Him. Everyone has their own roads and my road has been rough by my own description but when I look back and picture God planning every moment I smile because I realize who I was before and how much he loved me. This was a divine intervention for me even though it sadly came in the form of satan. Satan might do things to you but God is very much in control of every second. He won't give you anything you can't handle. Satan has his own intentions but he's powerless to fulfill half of what he wants to. He's forced to work by God's agenda and because of that this might actually benefit you.

God loves on a massive scale. I compare my situation to a morphine addict. You can give a morphine addict another hit of morphine to subside his withdrawal or you can help him get through his withdrawal so he or she won't have to suffer anymore. Thats God's love to me in this instance. Sometimes he answers our prayers and gives us that new house that we want but sometimes he takes a more meaningful route. The end result can't be bought for nothing. Its priceless to feel that loved by the God who created the earth with his hands.

I heard a pastor compare God and evil to two gears. Where one gear turns the other. You hear about someone getting murdered but what you don't hear is the family came to God and one of them was saved in the turmoil and renewed. You hear about someone getting raped but what you don't hear is the rapist came to God and spent the rest of his life in ministry. You hear about a tragic story but what you don't hear is how it affected the person who read the news article. Satan obviously doesn't intend for it to be this way but its because everything works by God's agenda. The ultimate goal is to save whats most valuable which is eternal life.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying you shouldn't be trying to do everything you can to get this off of you. Because God loves you you deserve freedom. These people have been giving you some good advice to "resist the devil and he will flee from you." Do everything you can to resist the devil's temptations and just leave it all in God's hands.

I think you know this but don't do anything they say to prevent a supposed threat against your children or family. That probably pulls at your heart strings but they wouldn't have said it if it wasn't a lie. I don't have children but they used my own life and my close family to give me stress so I would make poor mistakes. God is in control.

One of the biggest problems I face is my willingness to follow Christ changes throughout the day. This is really like living in a state of chaos because so much stuff gets thrown at you throughout the day. Mental illness or not, I can't help but always be stuck thinking about God from the moment I wake up to when I fall asleep because theres that actual voice in my head constantly reminding me of religion.

Sometimes I acknowledge my feelings but other times God graces me with the ability to know what I know and ignore my feelings. One of the ways I've combated this is I listen to Christian music almost every second of my free time. Even when I don't feel like it I'm listening because its that constant positive talk about God and us that keeps my mind level.

These voices say that this is an ancestral chain letter, and will soon afflict one of my children. They are blasphemous against God and Jesus, they physically afflict me. They keep me up most nights claiming devil-worshippers are involved. I see the both transparent appirations and physical beings, some appear to look normal, but many look evil. They know the future. They are both truthful and liars. Although I cannot stand to live with this condition, my hope is that you will pray for my children and grandchildren that this is not passed on to them as these voices claim. These voices claim that they are "phsycological operational specialists,"
and that this is a Murder/Suicide as well as a chain letter. I trust in Jesus Christ regardless, but know this to be an overwhelmingly evil situation, I can literally feel the evil from it, it is overpowering. In researching blogs from many schitzophrenics online, I see they are experiencing much of the same. I truly know that this is demonic. I know what scripture says, I just try to hold on.

This is far more common that people want to admit.

The main demonic entity behind this is one called Lilith. Bind her for a start. There are others but they normally need to be invoked through necromancy.

The main objective behind poltergeist activity is recruitment to the occult. Look back for a trigger, what started all this off.

Dealing with voices has to be done scripturally. Testing the spirit is one of the most important things we are instructed to do.

1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

If the voices do not agree with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then the authority of Christ is available for those who are redeemed to the Father. That authority is used for binding that false spirit, and asking the Lord to loose His true spirit. The
void left when the demon is bound needs the spirit of the Lord so that this type of thing can be avoided..
