    Something feels so wrong

There has been this odd feeling I've been having.
    It's like something is wrong.
In this forum, outside on my porch, in the lives of the people I know, even when I am talking to or watching someone I don't know.
Even the air outside on my porch feels strange for the last 2 weeks or so.
    Is this just me?
I can't even explain what it is. It doesn't seem like I can find any way to describe it.
It's just like something is suddenly different.
Guess I'm hoping it's just me, because it isn't exactly a pleasant feeling, but I can't say WHY...

My friend I tell you, it's not just you. I too have been strange. Something seems odd. Like something is coming. Like you, it's not a good feeling at all.

I believe that my post on the parable of locust reflects what ever is going on. That's why I posted it. I've been reading the Bible alot and nearly everything pops us as end times. I just can't get over the feeling of disaster.

It's like we need more time to win more to Jesus, but the time is short. The tragady that will happen if we can't win are loved ones over to Jesus.

That's what it feels like here in my heart.

    Re: Something feels so wrong

I have not imagined that something odd has been going on in this forum either.
    It has been extremely purposeful.
    It hasn't stopped.
Arguing over words and meanings isn't the way to stop it either.
The way to stop it is the Gospel.
If we are confused about the Gospel, we are lost and floundering.
This has a lot to do with fruit being stolen.
We allow it to be stolen. We can't seem to SEE it is being stolen, but it is.

MOD NOTE: Since this is neither a dream, vision or prophecy, but only a feelingsing I think this is better suited for Christian Fellowship. Especially since we know how reliable our feelings are.; )

I wish I could just refuse my feelings when it feels something is hinky, but I can't.
Would be easier if I could, for sure-to just shrug my shoulders and ignore it would be a LOT easier.

I had those exact same feelings recently - as if something has gone terribly wrong.

A verse keeps coming to mind though:

1Pe 3:15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

He is saying that when people see the hope that is in us, they will ask why - to the glory of God.

When the public mind becomes vitiated and corrupt, laws are a nullity and constitutions are waste paper.” – Daniel Webster, 4th of July, 1800, Oration at Hanover, N.H.

    I think it is palpable.
I think the window in my dream being open shows it is closer and there is now just a screen between us and....it.
I think it is like JollyRogers dream, and a seal has been broken, and a horse is riding or almost, and that we will see more than just the shadow of soon.
And I think it's like Hunters dream too, because Augustus is peering down on us maliciously.
And I think it is like toners dream of the big snake trying to bust through the glass.
But your verse is good, and Hunters plate of blood is good, and Thess 5 is also good.
I wonder how many years the dreams of being "someplace high" when some tragedy strikes have been going on, and if anyone has noticed how these dreams all begin the same.

Well if everyone starts reporting similar dreams, it is time to look to the sky.

Act 2:17 "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

Peter is quoting from Joel 2:28.

I'm not sure I qualify as "old" though.

    Re: Something feels so wrong

Yeah, you probably qualify as old. But around me, everyone becomes younger. My oldness makes them look younger.

Well then, it is time to look to the sky, because there are so many dreams that are the same, though sometimes we don't seem to notice it.

Not just the "somewhere up high" dreams either.
I have now heard enough of them to be convinced that the U.S. is going to lie in thirds.
I am ALMOST convinced that we are the "spiritual Babylon" spoken of in Rev, that will lie in three pieces too. Even just this forum, a small microcosm of our larger system, is its own little spiritual babylon:
    Are the bible stories literal?
Are all of Jesus' words relevant for His followers today?
Etc., etc., etc., - it is a huge "babble on" of competing voices and rudeness and the same "debates" over and over.

Saved7's disaster dreams have cranked up since I first met her too.
Earthquakes are increasing, yet everyone says they are not. That one makes you scratch your head for sure.
Yeah, it's well time to start looking to the sky.
Oh, and there is more than just the similar dreams. There are many REPEATING dreams. To have a recurrent dream is actually pretty rare. Most people have never had one, unless it is falling from a great height, or being naked in a crowd - the first one our beginning, the last will be our end.
But as far as repeating dreams about other things, no, most people haven't had them.

    Re: Something feels so wrong

You know, in prayer lately I've had the same leading of the Holy Spirit that you guys are talking about here. Just this Friday I was eating lunch in the cafeteria at work and the Lord spoke to me, He gave me a passage out of the blue. It was Mark 13:21-26. I pulled out my Bible and read this:

Mar 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
Mar 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
Mar 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
Mar 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Mar 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

I believe that the world stage will be set very soon for the AC to arise to power. Call me a crackpot.... but I can't deny what I believe the Lord has been warning us about!

Stay close to Jesus sisters and bros! It's our job to let Him shine through us when hard times arise, to Him all the glory!!!

    Is this just me?]

No; it is not just you - it has been a couple of months now that when my wife and i sit on the porch at night that i would say - something is just not right, it is coming from the heavens of the universe.
It is then when the following verse enters my mind everytime. Revelations 8:1 AND when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

My dream on the 21st of April 2012 was simple and short; in front of me was standing a hammer mill farm implement, which you use to mill feed for the animals on my farm.
For those who knows this implement, it has different sizes of if sift's to sift the feed to the correct size as feed for the particular animals on the farm.

This scripture then came to mind. Amos 9:9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

I then needed some clarity, on which i was directed to the following versus in Jeremiah. 23:29 and 50:23 (Read the entire chapters, it is very interesting)
23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
50:23 How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!

Yesterday i called a meeting with my entire family for today to discuss this feeling, which you, i and others are experiencing at present.

My theme for this meeting is to cleansing of home and soul, "the summer is nigh"

May God bless you and your family, thanks for sharing!

    Hi Sadok,
I've been reading your thread that was moved to bible chat.
Yes, it's definitely coming from above. It is like....you know when it is getting ready to snow and everything sounds muffled? Well, it seems like it is sort of the exact opposite of that. It is like things are....less muffled than what is normal. Like sound is traveling further. How crazy that sounds! But I am not imagining it. Something has been either removed or....opened. That's the best I can explain it. I am glad to know it is not just me. I was thinking of going to have my ears checked until I realized I only notice it outside.

There is also increasing...suspicion, between people there should not be this between. In my life, in the lives of those I know well and even not so well. I can't have the same suspicion. When He confirms to me that something is true, I just follow that. If we do that - just follow - there would be a coming together and not suspicion or jealousy or wrangling. There are people in my life, very close to me, who I know for sure have met God. Even between them and me, some strange separation is going on. It's like, suddenly, they are going one way and I am going the completely opposite way. It has left me flummoxed. I want unity very much, but not at the cost of refusing His voice.

My friend, as long as we are all right with God, we are OK. Let's keep our eyes on the prize.

I have found these posts comforting. That as some posters here say (including me), we are not crazy. All these similar experiences must be for a reason. Warnings of upcoming events.

Keep our eyes to skies? You bet ya. Know Jesus as our saviour. I've checked the list of mistakes that will be made in the last days. Like santa claus, I'm checking it twice and then some.

Praise God that we can draw more to Jesus, before it's too late.

I haven't noticed anything. But then again, I'm still young and immature in the faith. Not much for discerning spiritual matters either. But it's interesting to see several of you have this feeling. I too believe that things are about to get worse.
