    First of all...there is help. You have given satan a foothold. Now, you must take it back through foothold warfare.

    God has allowed you to be taken hostage for a reason. He will also deliver you for a reason.

    These horrible lustful thoughts are not you; they are not yours. Spirits experience lust and release fears through human beings. That's why they want to possess and control. Misery loves company and they find release through individuals who open the door to their involvement.

    Steps to Deliverance:

    1. Get historical. Sit down and write out in the form of a confession, everything you did, to give the devil a foothold. Everything...leave nothing out. Ask God to help in this process

    2. Make formal verbal confession to God through His Son Jesus: Read your list aloud, item by item, beginning with the words I admit and confess that I:..... Do this aloud for every item, don't miss one. Every confession frightens the occupying spirit...because he knows his time is short.

    3. Renounce and Forsake every sin: Go through your list again preceding every item with: "In the name of Jesus Christ, and by His blood shed on the cross, I renounce and forsake.....

    4. Cast satan out: Have a bucket with you, because you may vomit out more than one spirit. Command the spirit/s to depart from you in the name of Jesus Christ. Keep commanding until you are sure the last one leaves. And go they must, because they have lost all rights of occupancy and because it is not you they are dealing with, but the one whose name you are invoking.

    5. Be Filled With The Spirit: Ask God to fill you with His Spirit, to cleanse you from all unrighteousness, to empower His Spirit within you to bring you and keep you in the center of His will. etc.

    Expect some depression, sorrow, weeping to follow shortly afterwards; it is of God. Just thank Him...and keep thanking Him for your deliverance.

    Thumbsup Re: how deal with this specific demonic oppression

    I can only speak personally about my personal and current demonic oppression experience - I realized a couple weeks ago that I was trying to live on both sides of the fence (and had been doing so for years...) Asking for God's help only when things were not going well, then continuing my life of ...well, to be honest - sin. Then I had an "ephefiny" (sp?) that I was asking God to do me all kinds of favors with me doing nothing in return. So I completely changed my life to live an honest life. However, I was dipping into the old world when I felt I was desperate (has to do with getting money.) Last week I realized that this meant I didn't completely trust God, and was hedging my bets.

    This made me realize that God is there to help in all ways possible, but I was the one who needed to shape up, NOT GOD. I am still working with a priest (in fact, have an appt in one hour to see him.) but each day Jesus helps to clear my understanding of my personal relationship with Him. Just food for thought and I thank you for the opportunity to share this. Please keep trying and trust me, it will start to get better, one day at a time...

    Exercise especially walking and focusing your thoughts on good things are two pro-active things you can do. As you start each day begin by praising God, asking for a cleansing of body, soul, and spirit, and revoking the Spirit that wants to capture you during the day. Give it a name, e.g. Spirit of lust, pornography, or whatever you think it is called. Always pray in the Name of Jesus because there is (for the believer) power in the Name. Then once you tell this spirit to flee (in the Name of Jesus) ask for a filling of the peace of God and protection against further assaults. Also, throughout the day turn to the Psalms in the bible to give you strength from the Word. In time as you are free of this be sure to look for ways in which to help others get free of this bondage.

    Psalm 25 is a good one for this. Here is Psalm 25:1-21 (NIV)

    In you, Lord my God,
    I put my trust.

    2 I trust in you;
    do not let me be put to shame,
    nor let my enemies triumph over me.
    3 No one who hopes in you
    will ever be put to shame,
    but shame will come on those
    who are treacherous without cause.

    4 Show me your ways, Lord,
    teach me your paths.
    5 Guide me in your truth and teach me,
    for you are God my Savior,
    and my hope is in you all day long.
    6 Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
    for they are from of old.
    7 Do not remember the sins of my youth
    and my rebellious ways;
    according to your love remember me,
    for you, Lord, are good.

    8 Good and upright is the Lord;
    therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
    9 He guides the humble in what is right
    and teaches them his way.
    10 All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful
    toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
    11 For the sake of your name, Lord,
    forgive my iniquity, though it is great.

    12 Who, then, are those who fear the Lord?
    He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.[b]
    13 They will spend their days in prosperity,
    and their descendants will inherit the land.
    14 The Lord confides in those who fear him;
    he makes his covenant known to them.
    15 My eyes are ever on the Lord,
    for only he will release my feet from the snare.

    16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
    for I am lonely and afflicted.
    17 Relieve the troubles of my heart
    and free me from my anguish.
    18 Look on my affliction and my distress
    and take away all my sins.
    19 See how numerous are my enemies
    and how fiercely they hate me!

    20 Guard my life and rescue me;
    do not let me be put to shame,
    for I take refuge in you.
    21 May integrity and uprightness protect me,
    because my hope, Lord, is in you.
    "The flowers appear on the earth,
    the time of singing has come,
    and the voice of the turtledove
    is heard in our land
    ." SofS 2:12 (RSV)

    I completely empathize with you. But I will say this....having been an alcoholic, drug addict, sex addict etc....some of the posters are correct. You need to fill the hole. One thing that has always worked for me (even when at first it didn't seem to) was service. Call it whatever name you like. But service....to others. So, joining a church and becoming involved in the ministries/helps that you can will go a long way toward occupying that space your addiction has. All the other things are necessary too. Praying, worshiping, studying your scripture. It is a process. I have been there. As for the binding and loosing, buckets for vomiting, that wasn't my experience....but I am free. Still have to do certain things to keep the enemy and my addictions out but it's not hard anymore. And not isolating. That alone will keep you stuck. You must go out of your house. Find others who have overcome. Fellowship with them. We are not lone rangers nor live in a vacuum. God bless, Berean11

    Brother your right, it is not easy to over come. Infact you cannot, Christ can, Christ has. Therefore you must do like previous posts said. Repent, pray, fast. When you fast your body becomes weak it is not an easy thing to do. When I say fast Im not saying stop smoking for a day or dont eat your whataburger. Im saying NO FOOD, only water. Why? Water is the symbol of repentance. You must also not tell anyone why you are doing it. You must not advertise it showing your hunger. Be joyfull and glad, for you are entering a spiritual battle. Keep your faith, seek and you shall find. You must fill your body with water and read the word of God. I would suggest doing it one day total commitment to prayer and fast. Then two, then three. Little steps are little victories. The most I ever did was three days. It will not be easy depending on how much the evil has his meat hooks in you. It will take time and determination. Patience, prayer and standing stead fast. Lies will come to your head saying oh its ok just a little bite of the apple wont hurt you. Your right it wont hurt you, it will kill you. I have been through this oppression. Because I listened to the lies. I had trouble reading the bible, praying. He cannot posses you however, he can gain control over you if you allow the darkness to grow within. You must repent and seek the light. His word, Him. Then stand guard because once they have a taste for you they will always, always come back. Checking your defenses, looking for a differernt angle to enter. When the thoughts come, and they will, rebuke them in the name of Christ. Start saying the Lords prayer in your head. If you do all of this it will ease off, you will regain your strength but STAY ON GUARD, FOREVER! The Body is not a dirty thing. In the garden man ran to and frow without clothing. Sex is a beutiful thing when shared with the person you LOVE. When done right. Or it becomes an IDOL, A self centered act of lust, temptation will come, Christ said it is not what comes into the body which defiles a man, but what comes out. Temptation will come what you do when it does makes the differance. We use sex, money, drugs, material. We make this things our god for we give them thought and worry more then Gods Love and will for us. I tell you this when I was in perfect alighnment with God and His Son. I was not of want of this earth, nothing on this earth compares to the nearness of God, no love on the earth, no money. I would trade it all to stay in that perfect spot. I have found not greater feeling of purity, emotion, calm, joy, or being complete then in God's heart. Chase him and you will find him, seek him and he will teach you. Know him and know the greatest love of your entire life.
