So you approve of beating gay children but think anyone who does it should be arrested. Interesting position to take.

I think it should be legal to own fully automatic weapons of current manufacture. That does not mean I would not arrest someone if I caught them with one. I would arrest them and call the A.T.F. as soon as we got in the front door of the P.D.
I personally do not think Marijuanna should be illegal. I arrest people almost daily for possessing it.
I personally think you should be able to run 55 in a 25 mile per hour zone we have in town. I write people tickets every day for doing 35+ in that 25.

What's how hard and where, got to do with it, how can any God fearing person advocate beating sin out of people, wasn't that what the inquisitions did? If a boy really is leaning toward homosexuality beating him won't make it go away, he'll just stay in the closet and hate you as well. The bible also says that people who commit homosexual acts should get the death penalty. Does that still apply today? Should it?

No, Fenris, capital punishment for homosexuality is not enforced by Christians because we are not under Mosaic Law any longer. However, since homosexuality is reiterated as being sin in the New Testament for Christians, we are still supposed to see it as sin. That wasn't done away with during the fulfilling of the Law by Jesus, even though the death penalty was.

Truthfully, I don't know the full context of this sermon. I can't find a video that shows motion. I just have my assumption that this is taken out of context. I am sure the pastor was illustrating that "Punch" as a only a male would apply...as far as I know...girls don't punch... they just scratch and pull hair.

As far as disipline goes...you spank a child... not a baby. I don't advocate literal punching, but when I see this behavior, I squelch it and instruct how God intended us to be...Man and Woman.
