I was recently moved by the Holy Spirit to radically change my life. I finally quit smoking for good, I quit my band because we had started playing in bars and my banjo player wanted us to play a song about pagan gods, and to incorporate more of a gypsy theme into our material, I quit my job because of intense harassment due to my faith (including my boss mocking my pastor personally, and publicly humiliating me for being a Christian in front of my co-workers, then turning around and professing his devotion to God to his rich customers and local church figureheads. also because on Good Friday he deliberately sold food that contained meat to unaware Catholics that he knew were abstaining, just to make a quick buck), and I stopped associating with atheists and bad influences, even people very close to me.
Amidst this sea change, I was moved to record an album of Gospel material. I'm not sure what the purpose of it is yet, but I recorded a bunch of songs that I've only let a few close people hear. I'd like to get your opinion of them, if I should rerecord them for better quality, or if you have suggestions for what I should do with them (my brother suggested leaving CDs in random remote areas for strangers to find), or if you think it's just flatout not good. I'd appreciate any advice here, thank you.
