Re: CANADA: School Student Suspended for Wearing Jesus T-shirt

I kinda understand Mr. Swimimers' reasoning, to a point. But he also has to remember we are called to obey the law as well: instead of getting himself suspended (or perhaps expelled) maybe he should have tried a different tact.
Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.
    C.S. Lewis

You're gonna make a difference when you lay down your life, and in complete submission to God, choose to die with Him in service to other people.

Re: CANADA: School Student Suspended for Wearing Jesus T-shirt

There is no law in Canada saying a student can't wear a religious tshirt. The students at his school who were wearing "Hail Satan" t shirts were not suspended. This is a case of blatant discriminiation. We are not to obey all laws. For example many have died for worshipping our Savior, which was, and still is, a crime in many countries. Many have died for refusing to worship other gods instead. These people are not condemned in Scriptures. In fact, we are told "the world was not worthy of them."
Please pray for "the least of these" in the Persecuted Church Prayer Forum at top.

Acts 21 Now they have been informed about you that you continually teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn back from and forsake Moses...Therefore do just what we tell you. With us are 4 men who have taken a vow upon themselves. Take these men and purify yourself along with them and pay their expenses [for a temple offering],...Thus everybody will know that there is no truth in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself walk in observance of the Law of Moses.
