Hug How many row planter, does your tractor pull?

Just another WOW this week. That how important our works are in bringing people to God.

This really tied everything together for me. I wanted to share.

    James 2

10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

    John 10

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

    Matthew 16

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

    Mark 4

25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

    26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

    Matthew 9

38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

So after reading, I ask again.

I am hoping that God opens a door to allow me to more effectively pull one. Right now, it is rather small.

God bless you for your question.

So what did God minister to you exactly, can you express it here?

I have a ball cap with the words "Walk with Jesus" embroidered on the front. I wear it when I'm on the streets approaching people to hand out Tracks and ask them if they have a relationship with Jesus in any way. Some I'm led to simply ask them if they need prayer.

We are to plant seeds and water those out in the fields (the world) and God will bring growth.

So... here's a tip that MAKES it much easier to DO this type of work. Don't go out into the harvest fields with the mindset that ALL you meet will "accept" Christ. If you think that, you will find yourself discouraged and if persecuted, the persecution will effect you negatively.

Go out onto those fields with the mindset that you will PLANT and WATER. God does the rest and the HARVEST will be greater. You may not see many "accept" Jesus and that is only because God is using you to do plenty of planting and watering OF those ALL READY seeded.

Some get so discouraged that they think... this spreading the Gospel isn't for me and they stop because after 3 weekends talking to people for a couple hours downtown on the streets, no one accepts Christ. They may not even realize they were doing EXACTLY what they were supposed to be doing, which is plant and water.

    ~Do not quench the Spirit ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:19~

    ~
"So what hardship are you willing to endure, to see My will accomplished through you?"~

~Your relationship isn't knowing "ABOUT" GOD! Relationship is to "KNOW" GOD,
so that in the end and you stand before Him for the first time in heaven… HE KNOWS YOU~

~Do we, as Christians witness Jesus to the lost because we love Jesus? Or do we witness Jesus to the lost because we love them as Jesus loves them?~

~A prompting from God means that you are to DO. Thinking, causes you to... NOT DO!~

~Being on the tall mountain is where "you" go, to meet with God. Being in the deep valley is where "God" goes, to meet with you!~

I see it just that way.

That we do all we can. That we may not know that, five weeks or months or even years, that the person you planted the seed in will find his way, REMEMBERING the day when a nice person was trying to tell him something important, and now he realizes what that is.

We just need to do what is asked of us. We probably won't see all the harvest that we planted, but we still HAVE TO do our very best. Holding faith, that the harvest will come and keep those planters working.
