A Bit of Wisdom for the Youth in Christ, as well as the Newbies.

My daughter made a post about how she's never satisfied with her looks so she constantly changes her hair color. I thought about her comment all afternoon while I mowed the lawn and my thoughts were; "As long as you try to live up to the world's standards you will never feel pretty or good enough, because everyone has different opinions and standards of what is good enough. But when you finally decide to live up to God's standards and stop trying to please the world around you, you will only have One to answer to. And that is God. God's standard is faith pleases Him, and in living for Him you are expressing faith. All the world may condemn you, but through Christ you have eternal life that no one can take from you! God is the Judge, and it is God who justifies, live for Him and be justified and satisfied."

Oh that our children would get this!

Great advice. I’m glad you shared.

The young today live under so much pressure to look right, and be popular. Christian teens, suffer the most. While trying to walk with Jesus, they are bombarded with the secular world, along with it's fashion, music, and opinions. Teens are social creatures, they want to be a part of the group, and think they need to conform to be accepted. so many run to be who they really aren't, just so they can be accepted by the group. Then the group graduates, and they are left with trying to figure out who they are again.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior, then you are loved, just the way you are! Jesus has amazing plans for you, and what the world has decided is right, just won't matter. He loves you, whatever your hair color, or hair cut, whatever your fashion sense or hobbies. He loves you,and He created you beautiful, no matter what the world thinks, and you are can hold your head high.!

Walk with Jesus, let Him take control, and He will give you all that you need, and more! Trying doing it His way, instead of the worlds way, it's so much easier to please Him, and His judgement is the only one that matters!

    blessings to you
