I live on a farm in the hinterland of the prairies, so having access to fellowship through a board like this is a blessing. We work seven days a week, and ten or more hours a day in the busy seasons so it is difficult to go to church or attend many meetings. Through this board I hope to share the wonderful truths of the Bible and encourage other saints as well.
The particular gift that I bring is over 20 years studying the meaning of Bible numbers. There are lots of numbers in the Bible and God put them there for historical accuracy, but also to add spiritual insight to teachings. I began this study after reading Bullinger's book "Numbers in Scripture". I have put up a website www.biblenumbersforlife.com where I show the meanings of the first 77 numbers, and how the numbers group together in themes relating to the great doctrines of Scripture concerning Rebellion, Judgment, Christ, the Church, and the Last Days. What has encouraged me the most is to see how the spiritual meaning of numbers from Genesis to Revelation is consistent. This points to the Bible having one Divine Author who inspired both the Old Testament and the New Testament Scriptures. Understanding Bible numbers enriches our study of Scriptures. If the Bible is our daily bread, understanding Bible numbers is like having butter on the toast!
We see through a glass darkly. There are others who have discovered insights into Bible numbers and God's Word. I hope to meet them on this forum, and through their insights to grow in my own knowledge to the praise of His glorious grace.
