I was just pointing out one reason why using scripture (he is a man -Ps 8, Heb 2, Joh 5:25-27, 1Ti 2:5). Of course the gospel's and the book of Hebrews points out, because of righteousness. Put the two together and we have a King God is well please with and will rule and reign!

Last one for me on this subject then I will try to get back to the OP about the garden ............ (maybe )

Yea, I thought of that after I posted but my question (speculation) to that is did the demonized Herod know which one of the children the messiah was? Did he kill them all to make sure he got the right one? My understanding has been that he killed them all because he did not know which one was the right one and had to kill them all just to make sure he got Him and was mad because the magi didn't tell him. Would the demons have known that the real Christ slipped out of town just in the nick of time? If they didn't know for sure which child was the Christ then ... how would they know who the Christ was when He got older? Until one of the many who rose up in those days claiming to be somebody passed the sinlessness test they wouldn't know for sure would they?

Just a little thinking concerning Ezek 28 and the verses you referenced and tying that in with Satan having dominion over the kingdoms of this world presently...

Eze 28:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
Eze 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

Notice this is the prince of Tyre.

Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

Now we're dealing with the KING of Tyre.

I think the reference to the prince of Tyre was the human ruler of Tyre whereas the king of Tyre was the real power behind the throne...

Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
Eze 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
Eze 28:9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

This passage shows he is human in that he dies. (Ittiobalus who was conquered and killed by Nebuchadnezzar)

    Now...

Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Here is revealed who the king really was.

So, tying this in with the OP's original thoughts, one of the points of the restitution of all things will be God's government to the earth..

1Co 15:24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

That is not the usual scripture we would turn to here, but it is pertinent. (Besides, I like to change things up a bit.)
