Well, that's partially what I meant by "financially profitable." Target saw the writing on the wall. They either had to support the "gay agenda" or face the wrath of homosexuals and their supporters at the cash register.

Which just proves what the Bible says about "the love of money being the root of all evil"

Luke 17:34:I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

The Bible I use, New King James, indicates that the Greek word translated into English as "men" can also be translated as "people," which would make more sense, as two "men" gives homosexual connotations.
