Time to put on the kilt and feel the breeze...
It is only the cynic who claims “to speak the truth” at all times and in all places to all men in the same way, but who, in fact, displays nothing but a lifeless image of the truth… He dons the halo of the fanatical devotee of truth who can make no allowance for human weaknesses; but, in fact, he is destroying the living truth between men. He wounds shame, desecrates mystery, breaks confidence, betrays the community in which he lives, and laughs arrogantly at the devastation he has wrought and at the human weakness which “cannot bear the truth”. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, in Ethics.

We'er just wait'n for the 100+ temps to come here. It's not if we get em it only a matter of when. We even have contests to see who can come closest to the day and hour of 100 deg. 100, 105, 110, we get em all but there not much difference between them hot and hot and hot are still hot. Your cooler temps sound wonderful.

Thought that's why you boys wore skirts. Its been the same in London and all you hear at the bus stop is "ooh, can't be doing with this hot weather" next week it'll be " when's this rain gonna stop" what are we like!

Here in midwestern USA, the heat usually associated with June has rolled in a month early, much to my disdain. I don't like hot. We haven't hit 100 degrees F (37.78 C), but 80s (27 C) is already the norm. I grew up in a colder climate. :/
