This dude is down right scary and so are the people he hangs around. Considering the lifestyle he chose to live, he's not just homosexual, but a porn star, it's no wonder his mind is so warped. He fed his flesh till it just wasn't enough and had to go to extremes to please himself. Well, keep your eyes peeled for this guy, he's on the run and they THINK he's in France.

You know, this doesn't make sense, but when I read this, I thought about the story in the bible where the man sends pieces of his concubine to others, (sort of like "mailing" the body parts) to say that they all had responsibility for what happened...

Not the same thing, because he was not the one who killed her, but seems somehow...related to this biblical story....

I was thinking the same thing. The more you serve your flesh the more it will demand to the point of destruction. And our culture has encouraged this behavior by supporting homosexuality therefore we are responsible.

Yep. That cleared it up for me, thanks.
It is as if the man in the bible was saying, you all have some responsibility for what happened to her because of the lawlessness you have allowed to happen in your areas, without any qualms.
But if I recall from the story, the leaders of all those places got together and were very concerned, asking what they should do about this. The sense I got from the story was that they understood why he mailed the parts and agreed they had responsibility in it.
I guess I know what verses I'm being led to read this afternoon. I think they're right around the story of Lot too.

Actually I think that story is in Judges. I could be wrong.
And the thing is, this man who send this dead woman's parts around, is equally responsible since he allowed them to have her and then did nothing to rescue her when she lay at his door step, dying.

Yes, that's right.
Have a mish mash going on in my head right now. Somehow the story of Lot is there as well because I never did understand exactly how the man there could have thrown his daughter out to satisfy the ungodly men and make them go away...so, it's Judges AND the story of Lot. I'll go see what He tells me there.

I know, those stories have always boggled my mind. But that's all women were to them back then...property, sub human, still are in many middle eastern countries, most of which are Islamic.

There are definitely a lot of parallels between those two stories. In fact the story told is probably directly linking the language and story of Lot and Sodom, except in Israel, it's probably worse - a stark reminder of how much Israel had wandered away from God during this time in history.
