    Someone tell me whats happening

So these last 2 months ive been watching alot about Jesus/God on youtube and or stories of peoples experiences in Heaven and Hell. But the thing is when I watch 10 - 30 min videos of Jesus or God I will cry but the crying is for Good and i tell God im sorry for everything that ive done in my life and asking for forgiveness, sometimes i cry and tell God thank you so much for everything that i have my family friends and my career in djing and protection. After I cry i feel better and i feel peaceful.

Someone told me that the apostle Paul had the same feelings that im going through, but reason being why am I crying? is it perfectly normal to do this?

thank you for your time, God bless

Well, taking your question as an honest one, I will tell you that most people might refer to your emotional response and having your heart "touched." Others might say "pierced." In Acts, chapter 2, people had that reactions after being told about Jesus and they responded by repenting and being baptized.

Rather than watch videos, let yourself be presented with the message in person by a child of God who can also answer your questions and help you with your understanding. This electronic medium may implant a seed, but you would benefit greatly from speaking to one of the Disciples in person.

I pray you do this and respond accordingly,

Just the thought of God's love and faithfulness to me is usually enough to get the waterworks going ... Don't feel bad, you're in good company. Maybe it's weird being a man, but I've seen lots of grown men cry when they talk about God. It's quite charming, I think.
    Even so, come Lord Jesus!

When the Lord touches your heart, it has that effect, whether it is a man or woman.

God bless you and welcome to the board.

It's love pouring over you. God is love. When his truth penetrates your defenses and it makes its way inside it's going to encounter different things inside you depending on the particular truth you are receiving. If the truth has to do with your sin and rebellion that you have been living in, whether consciously or unconsciously, you cry for forgiveness for having stood against such love. When the truth is the love and provision of God and how much he wants to bless you and heal you, then that love tends to produce tears of joy and thankfulness. But it's being washed over by a love that we don't really have a word for in our language, because we don't know how to love like that. I've been walking with God for two decades now and I still have these moments of tears, sometimes light tears, sometimes thrown on the floor, gut wrenching sobbing. But it's always God healing something in me through that love. Like you said, it's always good.

I think you should consider this pure joy when you are experiencing Jesus as you are. His love is something that should move us to tears, to fall on our knees, and humbly thank Him for all that He has done. Music has a really great way of doing that... specially when the words touch your heart and it can relate to what your going through. Don't avoid this or over look it, but rejoice knowing that God has poured out His love and grace on you. Love you friend.
Why are you searching for love? Why are you still looking as if I'm not enough?

I don't know if you're born again but my hunch is you are not. Jesus said you must be born again and he is God manifest to us in the flesh. So if he said it then he's right. So with that assumption about you I will say that God is letting you feel his love so you will desire more of him and yes it has that humbling joyful effect. He's using these videos to draw you into ahimself to save you. Your response should be to ask for forgiveness and confess all your sins that you know to be sins and invite him into your heart and life, thus turning your life over to him for salvation of your soul. Just believing IN God isn't enough. It's believing him and trusting him that saves us.

It's an amazing feeling to be overcome with love that comes from our Lord!
Jesus Christ....who do you say He is?

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1

It is wonderful when the Spirit moves in us and creates all these feelings of joy or even when it creates the feeling of brokeness. Either way, it can moves us to tears. But you know, those "feelings" aren't a requirement. When someone is saved, a lot of the time, there are a lot of tears. But in some cases not. Being saved is not about a feeling. And I don't say that to discount your emotions. If you are saved and have those emotions, that's wonderful and beautiful. I just warn that it is still possible to have those feelings and still not be saved. That was my experience in my early 20's. It wasn't until later that I was truly born again. Just know that there is a truth that saves you. That Christ died for your sins and if you believe on Him and accept His sacrifice for your sins and turn from a sinful life, you are saved. And that, my friend, is the simplicity of the gospel. No amount of grief or tears or any action or emotion on our part can save us.

That said, if you are saved, then I rejoice with you for these feelings of euphoria. God bless and keep you.

I agree. Feelings come and go, but when we trust in Christ we are saved, even when we feel worse for wear!
