The trinitarian formula is required but once. Something to consider is you don't see the need for a rebaptism after a Christian baptism.

Instead of just doing it to do it I would suggest that you study it topically. Look at the instances in Acts for starters and write down every instance. Note what you do see and what you don't see.
It is definitely important as we see from scripture

I'd have to give that more thought. What I do see tells me something. What I don't see doesn't reveal much. The writers tell us what happened for a reason. If they leave something out, there is not always a message in that. It may be an error to make assumptions based on what we don't see.

I have gonr through alot in my marriage and with my family since then and have done some things I am not proud of. Alot of anger and hurt has been part of my recent existence... I feel a very strong pull to be baptized again....for the right reasons now....I have asked God for forgiveness and repented of that part of my life.
I had been baptized as an infant and then again as a toddler. Then vaguely another time, but defiinitely remembered being immersed from my last water baptism only because I was having trouble overcoming a sin in the flesh and thought there was something else that must be needed. All of those scriptures below that He has led me to, has reproved such insecurities.

1 Corinthians 1:16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

If the importance of water baptism for our salvation has been voided by Paul, then that would also include any insecurities for renewal. For believers that fell away or had sinned and wanting to get right with God need only to turn to Jesus for that.

1 John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I needed to lean on my Good Shepherd to discern what "weights" were sowing to the flesh by getting rid of those things that were acting as provision for the flesh: then I had to rely on Him to cast down all imaginations and think on good things.

My question is.....do I have the "right" to be baptized again......I feel so much guilt over things I have said or done to people....even though I have repented and asked for forgiveness and I believe God has granted it to me..........but I am still unsure of the right move as far as batism.
Hebrews 6:1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit. 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. 7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

In other words, it is impossible for those that are saved to become unsaved that they need to be saved or renewed again. As the rain has been received by the earth, life has been given to the existence of plants that has sprung forth from the earth. The plants of the earth cannot cease to exist that it needs the rain again to spring forth from the earth.

We, as the earth, has sprung forth life. When we sow to the flesh and not repent from it, we grow weeds that will eventually choke out the fruits of the good plants and reap corruption, but the earth is still having life, even though it should repent.

Hebrews 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are....23 And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

God is coming to Judge the House of God first: 1 Peter 4:17-19 And so how we build on that foundation will be judged. That foundation can never be moved, but there is a difference between being that vessel unto honour in His House to be received at the Marriage Supper than becoming that vessel unto dishonour in His House by getting left behind and cast into the bed of the coming great tribulation which is why there is a call to every believer having His seal to depart from iniquity.

2 Timothy 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

So that is why believers are to look to Jesus for help to lay aside every weight and sin to run that race for the high prize of our calling to be that vessel unto honour in His House to be received at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Hebrews 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby...........25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Better to ask Jesus now for help in finishing His work in us by helping us lay aside every weight and sin, and trusting Him that He has forgiven us when we had asked for that forgiveness ( and yes, we can even ask Him for help with that too) rather than not ask Jesus for forgiveness and help to repent for Him to deal with the thorns and the briers by leaving us behind.

Our confidence is that Jesus will finish what He has begun in us as He is the author and finisher of our faith, and so He will do it for all those having His seal that did not depart from iniquity and thus get left behind also.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:...9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

    Why?

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

So the only thing we can do in making ourselves right before God is to simply go to Jesus Christ in trusting Him for forgiveness and help to repent to follow Him.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

2 Corinthians 1:18 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. 20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
