I believe that it's a question that's a matter of life and death.

So I ask ewq1938 to join the thread and continue the conversation.

And anyone else who would care to join in.

Scripture is The Mind of Christ.

So as long as you can reference Scripture to your post (if asked to do so) this thread shouldn't have much trouble staying "on topic).

Was Jesus fully God nailed to the cross?

    Back from my distraction.

Ewq, care to answer this one?
I would be very interesting in hearing what ewq1938 has to say on this topic as well. Have you PMed him and requested a response?
Lord, one thing I ask...use me for your glory.

I agree since that is what I believe is taught here:

Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings...16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

While living on the earth Jesus was God in the flesh (John 1:14) but He had temporarily given up the power and authority He previously had over the heavens and the earth. That was restored to Him by the Father upon His resurrection:

Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

OK...For God so loved the world, He sent a good man......no, no, no ...I'll try again

For God so loved the world, he sent His favorite angel...no, no, no...hmmm

For God so loved the world, He sent the One who made the worlds, everything in all creation was made by Him without exception, Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; All power in heaven and earth being His...to whom the Father says: "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom."
