Amtrak!
It's chickpeas ground up and spiced and deep fried into little balls or patties. Usually served in a pita.
They're ok. Not my fav. I prefer gyro meat (lamb and beef) in a pita. With lots of Tzatziki sauce. I think it's the spices I do not enjoy so much in falafel. It may be an acquired taste, I dunno.

To me, "falafel" is one of the funniest words ever. It just makes me giggle to hear it, or say it.
Which is probably why I cannot be scared of anyone called "Falafel Man". Sorry. I'd expect him to bring me a falafel. Yes please.
