I've grown not to expect the tribulation

Immediately after those days -

those days - jumps ahead in time to the sees the signs from heaven and earth generation

Jesus told His generation that the signs from heaven were not in their time.
His generation would only see the sign of Jonas.
Jesus also foreltold how times would come first as to be ye not troubled as the end was not nigh.
It would take a very very long time to get to the beginning of sorrows time of nation against nation.

I mean, people have been saying we are in the end times for so long.. i've just grown to not expect it and just live my life. We do not know when the tribulation will happen. It could happen a year from now, 10 years from now, and even 100 years from now.. we will not know when it's time. Anybody else feel the same way?

Those who are ready for it now, are like unto the 5 virgins who were ready. Those who like to believe it will be much later are the like unto the 5 virgins who were not prepared. Jesus and the Disciple all taught to expect it in your lifetime. If you knew it was going to happen tomorrow, you would live right today. You say "We do not know when the tribulation will happen" This is somewhat ironic, for Jesus Himself taught that the Tribulation would indeed happen when the people of that generation would not expect it, as in the days of Noah. What you are describing and living in now, is the generation that does not expect it to happen.
