Re: Forum.
Thank you, Alan, for your kind words. The staff here is all in agreement that this board is a ministry, and we really do work hard at keeping it as it should be. Anyone who is banned...that is never taken lightly. People are shown much grace and mercy and banning is always a last resort decision. It is never decided by one person alone, but we are in agreement when someone is finally banned. And it is so that this board can remain above reproach, and continue doing the work of the Lord.
And it is to defend the integrity of the board as a whole. It is not an easy or an impulsive decision. I will pray that you are able to keep your board above reproach, as the Lord would have it. Again, thank you for your kind words for the work we do here. (And as you are finding out, it really is work...constant, diligent 'guarding' of the gates. Not always easy to do.....)

I think I am now learning to walk before I run, how can anyone walk together if they are not on the same page so to speak. Talking about not being on the same page, this week I noticed while searching for Bibleforums.org on my mobile, some one has put a curse on the Administrators and moderators here. Saying judgement day has come for them for banning him from the forum. The reason I am saying this, is to thank the Admin and Moderators for protecting us so well and doing their job in proper and balanced way.( you can pay me later) This has been an eye opener for myself, I can see the sense in having a body of people working together, to protect one another's backs. So I am not so fearful in my small endeavours into the world of Christian forum's.Kindest Regards Alan

My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16
"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name!" (Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)
