    Forum.

Hello, I would like to ask for prayer for a small forum I have started. It's open for anyone to join, suddenly your dealing with real people and therefore you have to make decisions on what people enter as posts. We have been given the wherewith all to do the job by our learning here and with Webnet77's software given to use.I think the reason for asking for prayer to-day is a post yesterday which I had to finally make a decision on to delete. Then this morning a well written post with under tones of we are going to take over here. I was going to say I wish you'd hurry up it would save me a lot of hassle, of course it's not a hassle but, but I feel a responsibility to do things the right way. So that's why I am asking for prayer, there are according to the software statistics 2.5 people a day joining, I don't now who the half people are though, I don't want them to look up to me and me look down on them. I wasn't going to write that, any way you now who they should look up too, Kind Regards Alan

You've been watching too much Monty Python, keep it up there's no sin in a bit of humour, often helps to break the ice. mind you i think I have come a cropper with the UK/US differences. what seems hilarious to me often flies straight over someone else's head or offends, anyway that's not what you have asked about.
What sort of Forum? I take it it's a christian site.
You're a brave chap so I'm up for praying. Humility, courage, wisdom, protection sort of thing, am I on the right lines or any specifics?
    let me know

Hello, I have been running my website for a few years now and have skirted around the challenge of being more involved with the people who visit. The site is much about what I write here, so I am giving the opportunity to visitors whether Christian or not to write on the forum if they register. There is a forum section where I ask people to please feel free to tell us what's going on in your world

    short stories section,

website stuff...What's going on with your site.....

    a blog section....

Prayer section.....Hello, if you would like a prayer request please post here, Alan.

So people who register know were I'm coming from, but I'm not sure were I'm going too.
Yes your on the right track with your prayers,

    Kind Regards Alan

    Re: Forum.

Thank you for your prayers this an update on the new forum... a post I put to-day on the new forum....

Hello, this is my first week running this forum, yesterday someone put a post in that contained malware. So I had to go back to the drawing board so to speak and reload the whole site. I wasn't prepared, I allowed anyone to register as a member, then when I was viewing a new members post Google interrupted to say this site journal77 has malware and phishing bugs in their post, which is dangerous and could infect my own computer, and not to return to the site.So I un-installed the site and have started a new install of journal77. My apologies to any genuine members who have been deleted from the site. One aspect of many of the members was to advertise their own sites, and not write anything but words between links, and some not even that, this is partly my fault, which in turn brought in the malware by one particular member. I have to figure away with the aid of the sites admin section to control this, so it doesn't happen again. Kind Regards Alan

Praying you will be led of Messiah in what to do.
Please pray for "the least of these" in the Persecuted Church Prayer Forum at top.

Acts 21 Now they have been informed about you that you continually teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn back from and forsake Moses...Therefore do just what we tell you. With us are 4 men who have taken a vow upon themselves. Take these men and purify yourself along with them and pay their expenses [for a temple offering],...Thus everybody will know that there is no truth in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself walk in observance of the Law of Moses.

Hello, Since reloading the new forum I have written in a prominent place that this is a Christian message board and have also increased the anti spam on people registering. I should have done that in the first place, it has stopped people registering completely stone dead, plenty of visitors though. I think I am now learning to walk before I run, how can anyone walk together if they are not on the same page so to speak. Talking about not being on the same page, this week I noticed while searching for Bibleforums.org on my mobile, some one has put a curse on the Administrators and moderators here. Saying judgement day has come for them for banning him from the forum. The reason I am saying this, is to thank the Admin and Moderators for protecting us so well and doing their job in proper and balanced way.( you can pay me later) This has been an eye opener for myself, I can see the sense in having a body of people working together, to protect one another's backs. So I am not so fearful in my small endeavours into the world of Christian forum's.Kindest Regards Alan

Thank you, Alan, for your kind words. The staff here is all in agreement that this board is a ministry, and we really do work hard at keeping it as it should be. Anyone who is banned...that is never taken lightly. People are shown much grace and mercy and banning is always a last resort decision. It is never decided by one person alone, but we are in agreement when someone is finally banned. And it is so that this board can remain above reproach, and continue doing the work of the Lord.

And it is to defend the integrity of the board as a whole. It is not an easy or an impulsive decision. I will pray that you are able to keep your board above reproach, as the Lord would have it. Again, thank you for your kind words for the work we do here. (And as you are finding out, it really is work...constant, diligent 'guarding' of the gates. Not always easy to do.....)

    My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16

"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name!" (Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)

    Re: Forum.

Hello, I woke early this morning about three o'clock, and started to think about a friend's daughter who had a stroke a while back and how it was effecting her. It came to me to ask them if they would like to join me here on the forum at journal77 and do some writing, they say it's therapeutic. So half sleeping half-waking I thought what a good idea it would be to have them here, I could also ask some of my other friends to join too. But on waking and getting up my peace left me, and I started to worry about ringing them up. Then my Wife came into the room and said to stop procrastinating, she knew nothing of what I was thinking of doing. So I told her what I was thinking of doing, because it sounded like the Lord was saying get on with it, phoning my friend. So I phoned my friend but there was no reply, then I began to think about what was going on, and I realised I had lost my peace about the whole situation and it had become a burden. This is where the teaching from the Bible comes into action, when Jesus says to us to,

    King James Version Matthew 11

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

    Re: Forum.

hello, I was reminded to-day of a dream I had when I first started this forum (journal77). The dream was set in a railway station, and I was on the centre platform, next to me was a musical instrument which I was playing. The stringed instrument was lying flat where I was plucking the strings. As I looked up the railway track a train was coming into the platform were I was, it was a double-header, Two steam engines were bringing some new steam engines in behind them. The new engines were what I would call Rolls Royce red in colour, the two engines that had pulled them in were American type steam engines. My thoughts on the double-header engines were that they didn't quite look right in their design, their wheels at the front. Then the musical instrument had turned into a cricket bat, my thoughts on the instrument were something you play yourself, the cricket bat needs a team of people to play the game of cricket.I have put this dream here as it is relevant to the rest of the prayer requests on Forum.Kindest Regards Alan
