I've been troubled by the state of the Church for a long time, it seems we lack the faith to see the power of God working in us, so that he may be glorified. Because of this, I've prayed for years about many things tied to our need for faith. Yesterday was no exception, I became overwhelmed with this "tea and biscuits" faith that we seem to have here in the west and had to sit down to pray during the worship/music service at church. Would you believe the pastor spoke on this very thing, and even confessed openly to us all that he is a skeptic of such power being displayed and that he doesn't expect much from God and repented before us all!!!![]()
The Body of Christ needed to hear this, that a skeptic is now re-examining himself because he knows lots of ministries in third world countries where the power of God is displayed often but because he's never seen it himself he doubts it and reasons within himself to keep on doubting. His message really hit a lot of people, I could see the tension on the faces of many but there were a few who were applauding and amening! Of course I was one of them.I love it, God answered my prayer through the pastors message and the funny thing is, he even said that his message didn't come together until Saturday night because he really struggled with his own doubts as he studied out this chapter of Acts.
Get ready people, God is working and those who will receive the message will walk in power and holiness glorifying our Father! The time is near for His return, strengthen yourselves!
