They say you should concentrate on diet and exercise when you are going through perimenopause. Add soy products to your diet for the estrogen benefits. An easy way to do that is to drink soy milk - I like the chocolate Silk brand soy milk. They say to watch your insulin, by not eating too much from the bread group or other sugars. Instead, go for fresh, raw veggies. If you want fruit, eat unprocessed fruit, but limit the amounts because of the sugars. Hope this helps.

Sugar and caffeine are things to stay away from.
And actually, overeating doesn't help either.
It canbecome a vicious cycle - eating to try to make yourself feel better, but then the junk makes it worse.
Youprobably wont believe this, but ginger helps. I don't know why.
