Fear of Listening to Forum Advice

Recently I posted a post on an OCD forum and the thought came into my mind that if I listened to any of the counselling that was given in response then my soul is damned.

I hate this. And I worry.

Any thought that tries to convince you that your soul can be damned to hell for any other reason than the rejection of the gift of grace through Jesus Christ is a lie from the Father of Lies.

Eternal damnation comes only from dying in a lost condition - having refused the gift of grace. And once you have been saved by the blood of Jesus - there is no part of your mental illness that can make you "unsaved" or damned.

I can tell you nothing more.

Go back and read all the threads where you have posted here before.

Greetings,

As some of you might already know, I have scrupulosity, namely about the fear of losing my salvation.

I've been taking medication and going to a Christian counsellor for it and it has helped.

But recently I had an intrusive thought about listening to my counsellor's advice or else, I'll lose my salvation.

Something like this has happened before, but I'm wondering if this means that, deep down I don't really trust my counsellor or that I'm over thinking it.

Brother, you are coming here and posting virtually the same thing over and over in completely new threads.

I have merged these two identical threads into one.

I will continue to merge all your future threads that a similar to this one into this same thread.

You are posting the same cry for counsel over and over, yet you listen to no one nor do you heed any counsel nor even acknowledge that you have received what you have asked for.

Go back to your earlier threads and view the very wise counsel from a host of people. Continue to see your doctor.

I am requesting as gentlely as I can that you do not start any new threads with this same subject matter. You have too many threads already with the same request.
