Boycott of Chick-Fil-A

News that a Pennsylvania outlet of the Georgia-based fast food chain had agreed to provide some of its famous chicken sandwiches for an upcoming marriage seminar run by one of the state’s leading anti-gay organizations has created a firestorm online. Companies, celebrities, and individuals are furious at the company. Why? Even the Muppets are being used as a tool in this nonsense.

It's getting so a person cannot hold Biblical views about marriage or be involved with anyone not on board the gay rights bandwagon without being clubbed with the crucible of PC. I choose not to go out of my way to participate in boycotting companies who support gay rights. I'm certainly not going to jump on this bandwagon against a Christian-oriented company who has done nothing wrong, just to appease LGBT radicals.

The good news is, millions of Americans are supporting the company, and there are long lines at the restaurant near me. I am in fact, enjoying a Chick-fil-A sandwhich as you read these words. Yum, yum!

I have always supported Chic Fil A because of their Christian stand. The fact that LGBTS are not going to be there will make the enviornment there even more family friendly.

You are probably eating it very slowly to savor every bite as I am responding about 20 -30 min after your post. I will of course go by Chic-fil-A to enjoy a meal specifically on wed Aug 1st. (rumored to be Chic-fil-A appreciation day) to support them along with all those who are willing to show support in this way.

This is ridiculous. Did Chick-Fil-A refuse service to gays? No. So the fact that the founder disagrees with gay marriage is irrelevant to them
They go in there to get food and they get their food.

This man could have kept his beliefs to himself but that wouldn't have changed anything, would it?
So much for this "tolerance" they (gays) always preach. Seems to me they cry for tolerance but are incapable of any themselves.

I'm thankful those who stand up today for God and godliness, and refuse to give in to PC pressure from those pushing an ungodly agenda. We are badly in need of that that today. Jesus said we were to be the spiritual salt and light of the earth. That's hard to do when we allow ourselves to be bullied into keeping them stored away out of sight, so we won't offend anybody. We are supposed to be gentle and humble, like Jesus. But also like Jesus, we must not be afraid to speak and stand for the truth--no matter who doesn't like it.

I think the homosexuals should stay away when the godly are eating.....Isn't there a Scripture saying, " you cannot partake at the Lord's Table and the table of devils"?
So I'm glad they agree with Scripture...
BTW, its giving Chick-Fil-A lots of free publicity. Most good family folk would probably be far more attracted to Chick-fil-A now that they can be assured there will be no homosexuals to pollute the place with immoral behavior.

However, I think we should really give them something to scream about by making the public statement that no Sodomites will be served at Chick-Fil-A on Sundays.
