You're not supporting hate....you're supporting the employees and owners of a company that is against the redefinition of marriage from a Bible-based model to a....well, not a Bible-based one...

I don't recall Dan Cathy saying that he hated gays. He said he didn't support gay marriage. I don't support gay marriage either, but that doesn't equate to hating gays. Now if he refused to serve gays, then that would be a different story.

Private business should be able to support whomever they choose. If the owner or managers of that particular restaurant want to supply free food to a meeting, that's strictly up to them. It would be the same (in my opinion) of the local grocery store donating food and beverages to our neighborhood cookout every year. The whole city doesn't live in my neighborhood but the store donates anyway.

If they refuse to hire someone for their sexual behaviors, that's a whole 'nother ball game.

Morally, and as a Christian, I don't support gay marriage. Am I promoting hate?? I don't see where Chick-Fil-A giving food to an anti-gay organization marriage seminar is necessarily promoting hate, per say. Plus, I don't think they've ever refused service to gays.

But this will be something we will have to agree to disagree on. No big deal, that's what makes America great.
