‘Twenty Hindu radicals interrupted a church meeting on Sunday [July 20, 2012], beating the twenty-five believers who had gathered for worship. The attackers also “tore up all the Bibles and Christian tracts lying in the church.” The church goers allege that the attackers also influenced someone to lie to the police saying the Pastor had bribed and forced him to convert to Christianity. This complaint to the police resulted in the Pastor’s arrest [with his wife child and another believer. They were released later with a warning not to conduct their worship services in that church again] This is a situation that happens all too often in India.’
