Muslims Long to Have Peace with God
Besides doing “good works” during Ramadan in hopes that the bad things they have done in the past year will be erased, Muslims also try to win “infidels” to Islam. An Egyptian Christian shares, “ It brings tears to my eyes that most of my countrymen do not know that Jesus died and rose from the dead to give them freely, through simple faith, that peace with God they so long to have.”

Father, as we come together today to pray we first want to say how much we love You. “Praise the Lord… Praise him for his acts of power, praise him for his surpassing greatness.” (Psalms 150:1-2) Father, as we draw upon Your power each day, we ask that You fill Christians around the world living in Islamic-dominated countries with Your awesome power and greatness. This is a challenging time for them, so we call upon You to sustain them completely. Thank you Father that said Musa’s family has a new home. In the days, weeks and months ahead richly provide for their every need; both physical and spiritual. And for our brother, Sami Azar who was kidnapped, Father, safely return him to his family. Although his kidnappers may have intended harm to him, we pray that they instead come to know You through his witness. We pray today from Your Word, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or dismayed, for the Lord you God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua1:9) Thank you Jesus, Amen.
Praying with you,

Acts 21 Now they have been informed about you that you continually teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn back from and forsake Moses...Therefore do just what we tell you. With us are 4 men who have taken a vow upon themselves. Take these men and purify yourself along with them and pay their expenses [for a temple offering],...Thus everybody will know that there is no truth in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself walk in observance of the Law of Moses.
