Change of Life

Hey guys! My name is Jonathan, I grew up in a christian private school and 2 years ago transferred to a public school as a sophomore in High School. Let me

say, it has been the BIGGEST CHANGE of my life. I never grew up with any addictions or temptations, and I could easily see how easy it is for one to fall

victim to temptations. However, since this change I have not once fell victim...Though my faith has taken a pounding. I have one year left of High School,

and I hope to make it the best. At the beginning of this past year, I dated this girl (My first and ONLY girlfriend) for only a week. I found out she had sex

with 3 guys that week...Ever since then, my entire view has changed of girls. I can never look at a girl now without thinking how "bad" she is, or if she

smokes, etc. Is there ANYWAY to get this out of my head?

Hold on to that virginity with all your might!! When you look back, in 5 or 10 and even 50 years, this will be a great blessing that you waited for God to provide a wife for you. And it will be a great blessing to your wife too. A consistant prayer life is essential to the resistance to temptation, and reading the bible everyday will lead you to understandings and knowledge that God has designed for you to stay pure.
"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
Do you still have contact with the kids from your old school? If so, then perhaps fellowship with them may be better than with those who have no fear of God.
