Sorry to hear about your loss. Lean on God at this time, do not turn away from him, he loves you and your mother dearly. I am praying for you.

My friend, I'm so sorry your Mother lost her battle with illness. nothing hurts like a death of one of our loved ones.
But, the Bible says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment..." (Hebrews 9:27) It is very difficult for us to understand that it really is appointed unto us to die. We cannot live forever in this life. That is a hard pill to swallow, but its true. UNLESS the Lord returns before our appointed time comes our way.
I too lost someone I loved deeply. He was buried on June 1st, and it hurts like crazy to go on without him. But friend, we are promised a great reunion someday and for that....I look forward to! Christ Jesus, from his very own mouth said, "...whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" (John 11:26) In other words...we just leave this body and go on LIVING with him! (Yes Lord, I believe you!)
My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16
"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name!" (Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)
I'm sorry to hear about your mother. Losing someone you love is hard and it hurts a lot. But now is a time to really lean on God, to really trust him and let him carry you. He knows you and loves you so much. He loves your mother and you will see her again. A good friend had given me a picture frame that said no one who believes in the Lord sees each other for the last time. And its true. If it provides any comfort to you, know that while you miss her here, she is in heaven with Jesus, no more pain or sickness, no suffering. She is healed and home. And you will be with her again someday. But God isn't done with you yet. he has plans for you and he will help you through this. He hasn't given up on you or left you. Sometimes it may feel that way but he's with you still. Again I'm sorry to hear about this and I will keep praying for you. Be strong, don't give up. Just believe and trust him and Jesus will guide you. And hold you.
